ABOUT

Miriam Saidian, LMFT, is a licensed psychotherapist with a background in the arts, psychology, and design—an interdisciplinary foundation that shapes her attuned and creative clinical style. She works with adults, adolescents, and couples facing challenges such as anxiety, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, trauma, parenting stress, and life transitions.

Miriam holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and completed four years of post-graduate psychoanalytic training at Valley Community Clinic (VCC). She is currently pursuing certification through the Psychoanalytic Center of California (PCC), where she continues advanced studies in psychoanalysis and contemporary psychotherapy.

In addition to her psychoanalytic training, Miriam is Gottman Level 1 trained in couples therapy and integrates emotionally focused, relational, and attachment-based frameworks in her work. She has extensive experience supporting individuals navigating postpartum depression, body image issues, and early parenting—alongside longstanding patterns rooted in family systems.

Over the past decade, Miriam has trained in a variety of settings, including trauma-focused work at Professional Assessment and Treatment Services (PATS), where she provided care to survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and intergenerational trauma. She has also worked in private practice and community mental health, always bringing a warm, nonjudgmental presence to the therapeutic space.
